Just saw on news, New Orleans' LEVEE BREACHED!!?

Fox News on site reported claims in a different place where it was breeched in Katrina. What does this mean for New Orleans???

You and Fox are mistaken or confused. A breach means a break in the levee. That has not happened yet...See CNN and Weather Channel.

Water is splashing over the levee from Lake Pontchartrain causing some minor flooding at this point. The levees were reinforced with concrete with your $ 3 years ago, so this is a test as to what your contractor did to make repairs.

All I'm seeing is wave/wind action pushing a little water over the top-- Not a breech - weather guys (and news men) are just sensationalizing it !!! AGAIN

I see water topping levees in several locations do to wind...not seen anything about any breaches

It means the water has come up to a level that is above the Levee.

New Orleans was warned, It is going to be flooded, badly.

The online news Im watching is just showing the wind blowing waves over the levy walls.

The Fox news I am watching did not report any breach of any levee. Waves are splashing over the top of the levee, but the levee has not been breached. The pumps have been repaired by the New Orleans city government, so this should not be a problem. To bad the city ignored the levees and pumps before Katrina and spent the money on foolishness.
