I am in the process of building up from walking to running. In the past I've started too quickly and ended up either hurting myself or not liking running. So I decided to take it slow this time. For the last week I've been going to the local track, running the straight parts and walking on the bends. I've been walking about a mile and running half a mile. I want to do my "long" run tomorrow. My plan is to walk a lap, run a lap until I've walked a mile and run a mile. Is this too much? Too little?
