Question:

Just the mere mention of Hillary Clinton's name brings about hostility?

I have asked a few questions about her involvement in corpor ations and other entities she lists as experience, and seldom does any answer the questions. I get "do your homework," "now another bashing," "stop picking on her."

1) Even she admits she denies actively doing anything for Walmart? (People who sit on boards often are not the ones involved with developing and implementing policies/programs)

2) Asking questions about other candidates produces lists of what they did or did not do.

If so many people feel hostiltiy either to defend or offend her, won't this just divide our nation and politics further?

  1. Pick any candidate.  People in general will find something good or bad to say about all of them.

  2. I think we need to unite against the Republican party behind a strong candidate

  3. No that is not true.   The mention of Hillary Clinton's name brings out smiles, and the wonderful thought , that she is a winner and a Great American.

  4. because she is a she bush has done far worst in and out of office he should be there for the roid investigation he owned the team that had all of the questionable players

  5. It seems to be the case, and the image of her face brings about indigestion.

  6. Thousands of questions about her or her husband, written by people who haven't any idea at all about what she has done, or not done, people who are willing to slam her for any stray remark taken in and out of context...it does make you testy.

Shes done so much in her life that listing it all would be long and no one would read it, that's why its suggested you look it up.  If we say shes been involved in business and sat on the board, they say shes a sell out and bought her votes.

If we say shes hard working, they say Bill got a BJ and she should have worked harder in bed, or that shes a L*****n.

Or, and this is a new reason for not voting for the woman for the presidency, they don't like her pantsuits and she has cankles.

So yes, its hostility, its also exhaustion, our nation has been divided by this Pavlovian response to her name, but when you actually look at what shes done on her own, and what shes stood for all her life, shes a d**n good candidate.

  7. I've just realized that we've had an entire generation of politics that have been about attack and counter-attack.   In fact, the media and politicos call it a machine.   The kind of term that is often applied to war or aggressive business.  Previous to that it was reasoned debate.

I think of people like Regan and Tip O'Neal.  Those two disagreed on almost everything, but they were genuine friends and wouldn't hesitate to extend courtesy to each other.

Since, we've had a generation of politics that's main goal is not to debate, but to obliterate.

Hillary is now the main cheerleader of that generation.  As a result, she will bring about extreme emotion just by simply stating her name.

I look at her main opponents: McCain and Obama and see that both of them are a different type of politician.  They are independent of the "machine".  The act on principle and walk to the beat of a different drum.  I think there's no coincidence in that.  I think the American people are standing up (finally), to demand that the "machine" be turned off.

Obama, appears to be the person that will lead us into a new generation of politics and perhaps show us all how we can serve our country and not attack each other like a house divided.

  8. Wanna bet?

Do the same question, and replace Clinton with Bush.

    (About that list ...)

  9. Hillarious Clinton is facing defeat with Obama winning in the latest primaries it might be because of her involvement in many corporate interests.
