I would love to see that. Little Jimmy McManus from Southeast Nebraska State, who set 418 Division IV passing records in the run and shoot offense, gets invited to Packer camp for a look see and gets tossed a #4 jersey.

  1. Bret is bigger than God in Green Bay. The fans will go crazy, if somebody ever gets his number. They'll retire his number as soon as he finally retires, which will be in 2042, I think...

  2. and if he makes the team the pack will be screwed after Favre retires from the jets when they go 5-11.  He won't stick around if the team he got traded to plays like c**p (which they probably will) and as soon as he retires for real GB will retire his number.  too big of a risk letting someone else have that number.  Plus, who would want to be the guy in the locker room who took Favre's number?  I'd pass on that.  Nobody on the Bulls was too eager to take 23 after Jordan left, as I recall....
