Just tried getting credit report...Asking me to call them?

I just filled out my free credit report with Equifax, fillied out everything they wanted to know, Got to the final step n it asked me to ring them to answer a few more questions.

Is this normal?

Yes sometimes this happens if there's any question about your identity....a safety measure. Sometimes there's one little thing off...a slight miss in DOB or address....call them and give it a whirl.

Yes, that's probably what it is. Just call them and they will verify your information and then you will have access to your credit report. I just had to do it the other day.

no. go to www.annualcreditreport.com they are the legit company and you get free reports from all 3 bureaus

Must be if it was on the form you filled out, it means that everyone who filled out that particular form has the same questions. Ring them and ask them why they need more information, it could just be to confirm who you are for security reasons, something you would not want written down in case it was stolen.
