I just turned 18 2 weeks ago, i dont think im a bad kid, i have a 3.7 grade average, im studying for my SAT's now and getting 1890 average score and i have played the piano for 13 years, and am intermediate-advanced, have never done drugs or smoked or had s*x or drunken, so over all it would seem like im not a hard kid. well it started when i got a girlfriend, my parents went bonkers and totally and outright cut phone privileges and everything, for reference, they are mega EXTREME conservative on everything (they want to pick my friends, my life, my clothes, my effing toothpaste, etc) so we have been in conflict for a while over how much and far can they control my life. well heres my Q:

last night, they told me they where planning on kicking me out of the house, and i need to know what i can do about this:

i was born in canada.

i have a birth certificate

they cut my passport last night

i have no photo ID basically

can i demand my clothing from them? my personal effects?

  1. Pay them rent...use a check.  Otherwise they can kick  you out.  You can call the police to get  your stuff back.  You can apply for your onw passport.

If your parents are really conservative they will not respond well if you agree to leave.  Perhaps the best thing is to pack your stuff and go to someone who loves you (such as a grandparent, aunt or uncle).  Or better, move in with the girl and her parents.

  2. call a cop to get you personal stuff they cant legally keep it as for the rest i dont know if all you say is a fact it seems they have issues.
