false, so scared of history repeating itself.

with 14 m/c's before my 1st daughter (who is now 5), had another m/c (blighted ovum) after her and needed a d&c, then had my 2nd daughter (she's now 3) (my girls are 2½yrs apart exactly).

when we started TTC#3 my 1st cycle ended in chemical pg, now on 4th cycle with Metformin 1500mg (for PCOS) and Clomid 100mg cd3-7 and only on cd21 (22 in an hour), I got a faint hpt on 6dpo (got a -hpt an hour and a half after first one), another 2 hpt on 7dpo, and another 2 hpt's today, what I don't understand is why is it the line is getting darker slowly but gets darker at night, they say to use FMU, but FMU is the worse time for me to test so it seems. Any idea on why? and has anyone else experienced the same?

and do you think 5 hpt's could be wrong? and how is it possible when I'm only 8dpo right now, and the hpt's started on 6dpo?

  1. Well first off, congratulations on your pregnancy!  I would have to agree with your FF chart interpretation of when ovulation occured.  Plus your BD pattern also coincides with that ovulation leading to conception.  I have read that implantation can occur as early as 3dpo so then that would give you three more days for your hcg levels to reach a level that would be picked up by an hpt.  Some can detect as low as 20mIU/ml.  Your hcg levels double every 24-36 hours so I would say that if you get a Beta done, then start dividing in half going backwards in your cycle that could sort of help to know when implantation occured.  You won't know exactly when conception occured since hcg is only produced when the embryo implants.  As far as why your hpt's are darker at night, it may have to do with how much time goes by between urination.  The longer you wait, then the more concentrated your urine will be.  As long as the lines are getting darker, then you know your levels are going up and that is a good sign!  I wish you the best of luck!

  2. wat did u say?

  3. Why such a big need to know exactly when you concieved? Your pregnant, congrats. But you stressing so much is never good for the baby and since you have a large history of m/c's you really need to stop. As long as your not sleeping around then don't worry when you concieved, you can figure that out later on during the pregnancy, or your doctor can let you know.

  4. Hi:)..did you take ovidrel or a "trigger shot" to help with ovulation? If so,that could be a reason for getting a + so early..if not, then I would say you definitely are pregnant:)!!!all of the information put out regarding implantation times is an average,so it is possible you are just a bit earlier than average in getting your bfp.I would make an appointment to get a beta done and go from there.hope this helps and congratulations:)!
