Just wanted to share a poem I wrote :)

Question

Your love brought discoveries

awakenings of new perceptions

shed light into unseen places

hidden caverns in my heart.

Boundaries which once contained me

love opened up my eyes

Set me free from naïveté

diminished shields built through time.

clichés in life exposed

although without disappointment

lyrics once misunderstood

now clear, with empathy.

But in reception of a gift like this

despite countless rewards

patience is a virtue

and a necessary hurt

the one for which your heart opens

life unfortunately hinders.

complications and obstacles

an ache of frustrating desire.
