  1. your right

  2. I can only think of two races Brian Vickers won! -- the two you've shown.  I have to admit that when he wrecked Johnson and Jr., it was almost certainly unintentional (though still his fault).

When he wrecked the leader to get into the All-Star Race however, that seemed pretty darn intentional.

Still, my favorite wreck and aftermath that I've seen in person is when Kurt and Kyle Busch wrecked at the All-Star Race last year.  It was classic because Kyle was a touch faster and was racing his brother the same way he races everyone else -- bascially shoving him up into the wall.

Then, Kurt basically said "Alright, you want to play it that way", came down on him and they both wrecked.  Either one of them could have won that race (but for the wreck).  The hilarious thing was the aftermath:  Kurt was completely calm, and said, "Well, we were bound to get together sometime on the track," and was pretty much smiling and "oh, well" about it.

Kyle, on the other hand, equally responsible for the wreck, was pouting and throwing a tantrum.

Not a surprise given the way he's acted ever since ...

So, to answer your question:  No! :-)

  3. no he has won both his races by spinning someone out.

    it is funny, sucks..but funny

    time to smoke

  4. nope, at least not at the sprint cup level.  but i still think he's a good (not great, but good) driver, although i can't say i like him much.  but those wrecks are kind of funny to look back on now, but i remember when they happened - they weren't so funny then.  especially when he accidentally (!) took his own teammate and junior out.  i first felt bad for jimmie and junior, as they definitely didn't deserve that, but then felt bad for vickers as he was "so close" to sliding behind jimmie perfectly.  as maxwell smart (of "get smart") would say, "missed it by THAT much."

although, in his post-race interview, come to think of it, he wasn't very apologetic in rejoicing over his first win, but then again, it was his first win.  i'd be lucky to remember my own name for the cameras if i won my first sprint cup race

as for the all-star race, that was good hard non-points racing for a million bucks.  nothing wrong with that - that's why they even relax the rules regarding contact on the track for the all-star race...
