Just what is the law in Costa Rica for finding buried Treasure? Does it all belong to the "State" or is it

  1. Costa Rica is a TREASURE on his own!!! So that means you can't take different stuff from it. Orchids, wild animals and Coco's Is. treasured are really forbidden by law. But if you find something, it would be part of the state and you have to give them... in some cases, the government pays people for different things

    If you find it and you inform the authorities....it´s probably they try to keep it....

  4. If you are thinking about Isla del Coco... sorry there is a law that forbids any activity of that matter on that island.

    So if they find you there you will be getting a free one way ticket to jail.

    However you can find a great natural treasure in Costa Rica  which is all our flora and fauna.
