It was one of the best fights ive watched in a long time. Felt quite sorry for Gomez, even though he didnt win, what a way to go out.

Yeah he just didn't stop moving forward - solid as a rock, mind you i think he had more at stake than amir khan - you just got to think how good would it have been for gomez to beat khan?!

What a great fight, i thought Gomez did well because he kept on surviving. The better man won on the day.

good fight,  but you just have to wonder how much the ref got paid to stop the fight?

Gomez is a better fighter than khan no matter what any one says.

Yeah gutted when it was stopped. It really was like a rocky fight! Gomez was having blows rained on him but he just kept coming forward.

when the ref called stoppage gomez raised his arms like 'wtf, i can keep going!' but it doesnt matter because thats the way it works, would have been great if it went on though, ah well, good match :)

great fight ,but why the stoppage. gomez had plenty in tank left,khans last blows on the ropes were'nt clean punches,30 secs left in round so no way was a win.............another baby sat fight and wrong call by ref
