Just wonder where i can renew my Ph. passport while i have a valid US visa?

my passport will be expired next year (nov.2009). and i have aplan to travel to visit my family in the philippines ,so i just wonder where i can renew or what can i do. i have a valid US visa and i wanted to be back in the US after visiting my family..some of my friends here they said i can re-new here but either one of them havent try it yet...someone can help me

  1. Renew in the Philippine Embassy in the US.


  2. go to your local philippine embassy and you can renew your passport there.  if your US visa is still valid from your old passport, they would give it back to you and you should have both passport (new and old) present with you when you travel so you wont have any problems when you return back to the US.

  3. Go to the nearest Philippines consulate or the consular section of the Philippines Embassy in Washington, DC and renew your passport.  You need new passport photos.  Then contact USCIS about updating your visa/transferring it into your new passport -- bring your existing passport, I-94, visa, all other documentation with you when you go to USCIS.
