  1. Not sure if I understand your question, but hybrids are considered "green" because they can recapture braking energy that is typically wasted as heat, and make electricity.

Also they shut off at stoplights, and when "idling."

Very good technology, and very simple way everyone can save money at the pump.

  2. the engines burns both gasoline and hydrogen to produce energy.

  3. LOL

You're mixing ideas here. Hybrids use plain 'o' gasoline to generate electricity to run your electric motor. It's only 'green' in the sense that it doesn't waste gas idling or running at speeds above optimum.

'Green' fuels are derived from clean, renewable sources, like solar, wind, geothermal, or bio. You could make a hybrid green by converting it to run on methanol. But then you'd have to build your own fuel depot, since it's kinda hard to come by right now.

  4. I didnt think that they took alternitive fuel

  5. Hybrids are a good choice if you are going to buy a new car. There are several forms of "Green" cars. some are gasoline/electric, and some are alternative fuel, such as Bio-diesel,  and Ethanol.

Chevrolet claims to be the largest manufacturer of "Flex Fuel" vehicles, these will burn Ethanol or Gasoline.

For a detailed explanation visit the web sites of the manufacturers, Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chevrolet.
