Just wondering if any1 is in the same position as me.?

so i was born and raised in Newyork came to turkey when i was 16 and have been here for 3 years. i've been in college for the past 2 and just waiting till college finishes so i could go back cuz i miss newyork so much :( .. i just feel really alone cause i feel like im the only one in my position. Any1 out there that i could relate too?

I think you are exaggerating and needlessly dramatizing your situation. I do understand your bitterness, I miss the place I grew up too but you can't remain the "kid from the next block" for the rest of your life. I am a person who's changed 13 schools in 5 years -most of these schools were in the U.S- and believe me, one gets used to new places easier than one imagines. Besides, if you really are sure 100% that you'll be returning to NY,  just be patient. (Beats me, I'd never choose the big apple over my beau Istanbul)

i know NYC is like no other but Istanbul is also wonderful and you can find most of the things also in Istanbul.i can understand your situation,i know what it means to leave your homeland so we are kind of similar.i had to move for 8 times in 22 years!
