  1. You need a fitter to disconnect your gas oven and another to wire in your electric one.  Cost in total £120 - £160. (in UK).

Shop around to see who will do it for an inclusive price!!!

  2. If your house was wired for an electric stove it will cost nothing more than the cost of the stove. If adequate wiring is not in the area then it will cost a bit to have a circuit run the stove area with a dedicated breaker.

The gas is not an issue, just cap the pipe when you have the electric stove installed.

    Good Luck!

  3. It may or may not be. Depending on where your gas arrives, what type of foundation you have, your area's specific codes, how far and through what your gas pipe has to be routed through. It's best just to call a few plumbers and get estimates.

Apparently I read your question wrong. I thought you were going from electric to gas instead of gas to electric. Gas is superior for stoves in my opinion but if you want electric then it would be fairly inexpensive provided your panel has an opening for another breaker. An electrician would just have to run wire from the panel and install an outlet and a plumber would have to cap off the gas line.

  4. i like eating handfulls of dirt

  5. Jones this can be a expensive, if you need to install subpanel to your breaker box.  Kitchen Range will need 40 to 50 Amps.  I would guess it will cost $600.00 depending on your location,  to hire Electrician, to run wiring and install electrical plug.  Look up Electrical contractor in your yellow pages, most will give you free estimate.  This is not DIY project.

    Good Luck
