Just wondering what is nice cheap wine red and white?

White-Yellow Tail Chardonnay-Available at most grocery stores-7.00

I love Barefoot chardonnay...it's like 7 bucks for a bottle and it is awesome (just got done drinking some) Also Ravenswood red zinfindel is a great one! that is like 8 or 9 bucks! both very light and easy to drink!

Right now you can get great reds from Chile or Argentina for $15 US these are hot right now and a great value. There are some very nice big Australian reds cheap too, Penfolds makes quality wines. Whites are different because there are lots of great lower priced whites. If you like sweet there are very nice Rieslings but Sauvignon Blancs from New Zealand are crisp citrus full, tropical, light and refreshing I love Whitehaven, Matua is nice, Brancott is good. All under 17 dollars.

Concha Y Toro - Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot - Chili. A large bottle, the next size up from 750 ml. goes for about $8.00 at Costco. Not bad, and at a good price. In fact I'm drinking some right now.

I am a red wine enthusiast and these brands are very good even if they're cheap:

1.  Gato Ne-gro (Chile)

2.  Fortant (France)

3.  Carlo Rossi (California, US)

4.  Gran Trillo (Argentina)
