Just wondering what my bf is doing at Ft. Benning today...?

My bf started Basic at Ft. Benning on friday. Anyone who has gone there for basic/infantry ... could you tell me what your sundays are like? from morning till bedtime. Just wanted to know what they have you guys do on sundays. Thanks

they kept us busy and worked the dog **** out of us...Sunday was suppose to be the easy day but i assure you he isn't relaxing.  maybe getting laundry done or going to church (if they don't have something else for him to do.  Also, they will probablly have details all day to clean up the barracks and the company area, yard work and such.

I just confered with my roomie who went more recently than i did, and he said:

Jewish service had food

Catholic and Luthern you could sleep during

and the protestant service was loud and such

so tell him to go to anything bu protestant if he wants to relax/get a small break (he'll need it)

Barracks maintenance, church (if they want), more barracks maintenance, mow grass, rake sandpit, barracks maintenance, write letters, read letters, and more barracks maintenance, lol.

They go to church in the morning. Those who dont go to church clean the bay.

On Sundays they can go to church if they choose.  If not, they clean and/or read their Smart Book.  They could also be getting "smoked" (PT), details, and doing all sorts of fun things.  Usually there's no training on Sundays.

But if he just got there Friday, he's probably just sitting around in Reception bored out of his mind.
