It was Justice League not JLU

Season 2 Episode 42 "The Terror Beyond" it was a two prater (ep 41 & 42) all of the Justice league shows where and that scene was at the end.

(They include season 1 in the numbering system)

In JLU there was "Wake the Dead" (Episode 11 Season 1) where Grundy comes back and Shiera has to put him down.
