Chief Executive of New Zealand Cricket (NZC), Justin Vaughan, is http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Arthur-Percival-Day-c45927 that Daniel Vettori has not announced permanent retirement from 50-overs cricket and wants to see the left-arm spinner represent the Black Caps in future.
The former Kiwi captain has announced that he is going to take a break from One Day International (ODI) cricket but he will be back in the future for his country.
However, Vettori will keep on playing Test cricket for New Zealand and wants to preserve himself for the most prestigious form of cricket.
The CEO was all praise for the all-rounder and believes that he is one of the great cricketers produced by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 in the recent past. However, he respects Vettori’s decision to take a break from ODIs as it is going to give NZC a chance to give opportunities
to the younger players.

He said, “Dan has been a great servant for a long time now and I believe this decision is not only in his best interest but also for the best interests of the Black Caps. The fact that he has signaled a desire to play ODI's and Twenty20's in the future and
possibly make a return when we co-host the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 is great.”
