Justine Henin’s life to be commemorated in a musical show – Tennis News
Former world number 1, Justine Henin-Hardenne, will now have a brief appearance in a musical show that will be aired in 2012. According to the magazine, Le Soir, 29-year-old Henin-Hardenne will be the special guest at the show
that will feature kids who would perform different choreographies of the world’s famous choreographer, Joelle Morane. Mix of dance, text, songs, and animated choreography acted upon by kids will be the essence of the show.
Belgian International, Henin-Hardenne, is a famous tennis superstar who has won 50 titles in her professional career. She reached the world number 1 spot in 2003 for the first time and then regained the spot in 2006. She holds
43 WTA singles titles and seven Grand Slam titles that include four French Open, one Australian Open and three US Open titles.
Unfortunately, at the start of this year, she had to retire from the international arena due to her niggling elbow injury. This marked a disappointing end to a great sporting era for the Belgian. She was known for his effortless
one-handed backhand that is not copied by anyone in the women tennis to date.
2004 Olympic gold, Belgian, firstly retired in 2008 but the love of game couldn’t separated her from returning to the courts once again and in October 2010; she made her marvellous comeback in Australian Open, reaching its final.
Everyone thought that Henin-Hardenne will rule the world once again but her comeback was short lived as she was struck with a chronic elbow injury that forced her to retire in January, 2011, for the second and last time.
Former world number and legend in the field of tennis, Andre Aggasi, praised the talent of Henin-Hardenne in these words “Justine Henin is one of the most talented women ever to have played the game of tennis”.
John McEnroe concurred, saying that Henin is "The player I most like to watch."
18 time Grand Slam winner Martina Navratilova said that "She is head and shoulders above everyone else right now."

Morane, the show choreographer, unleashed the news about Henin-Hardenne’s appearance in the show and told the publication that kids are really ecstatic to have their idol amongst them. She runs a well-established tennis academy
in Limelette, south of Brussels and her academy kids would also feature in that show; her attendance would definitely boost their morale.
Henin-Hardenne is to be commemorated in a musical show; they will celebrate her achievements and praise her efforts for promoting tennis in Belgian.
