Juvenile 16 no trouble before, found weed in friends cars, he was charged, what will they do to him?

he was in the car with his uncle and the police pulled them over and he had no idea there was weed in the car. they arrested my brother and sited my son with possession, less than an ounce. What do you think they will do to him?

Don't matter who's car it was or even if they didn't know it was in the car, if they are the ones driving the car when stopped and the drugs are found, he'd be charged.

The the uncle may face a stiffer charge especially with an under age in the car. The 16 year old will be released into your custody, nothing else.

Tell him to stay clean or life can become much more difficult.

considering it was less than an ounce they will probably stick you with a small fine ($100-$500) and give him some community service
