There has been a lot of talk going on about the contenders for the Scudetto during this current campaign, and it only seems fair to analyse their credentials.
The in the part one of this feature, Bettor.com took a brief highlight of the season and reflected on the road to Scudetto, last year. In this part, we would give a look at the various incidents that have taken place which have affected the club, along with
the several players they have signed this season and their current form in the Serie A, during this season.
The current holders of the Serie A have had an eventful summer and they have had to deal with a lot of controversy and a lot of talking to the press. First of all, we would look at the controversies that have surrounded the club and assess its repercussions
on the club during the course of the campaign.
Juve seem to think they are at the wrong end of most decisions dished out by the FIGC, and after the latest controversy that has struck Italian football, which is named as the Scommessopoli controversy. Even though the Turin giants were not directly involved
in the verdicts dished out by the sporting justice authority, there were a lot of stakeholders at Juventus who were indicted in the case. Initially the players that were involved in the Scommessopoli controversy were http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Simone-Pepe-c33591, and Bonucci
was facing allegations of sporting fraud. However, the players were let go for a lack of evidence on the matter.
These were not the only personnel at the club indicted the controversy, as their much loved manager, Antonio Conte, along with his assistant, Angelo Alessio was charged with crimes. Both of these men were charged for their time at Siena, and failing to report
the fixing of matches, in Conte’s case, the specific matches were the Siena-Novara match and the Albinoleffe-Siena match.  Despite a lack of evidence, Conte was sentenced to a 10 month ban, whereas Alessio was banned for 6 months.
This has seen the absence of Alessio and Conte from the touchline at the matches at Juve and has seen the technical advisor of Juventus, Massimo Carrera, to fill in their absence. However, it is to be noted that despite the absence of the two important personnel,
the Turin giants are on an unbeaten run during the season, and have won seven of the eight matches played in the Serie A, so far.
They have been highly organised as before, and as well prepared as before, and Antonio Conte is making sure that the team does not come short of anything in the challenges they might face in the Serie A. If you do not look at anything else but their last
match against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003, you would see why they are the clear favourites to lift the Scudetto trophy.
They were compact, energetic, highly organised, attacking and proactive in their approach on the field of play. The Turin outfit have also signed on exceptionally talented players in the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nicklas-Bendtner-c27726.
The air of confidence is evident from the aura that is emanated by the belief in the players. Angelo Alessio remarked on their brilliant start to the season and mentioned that the table and the statistics did not lie on Juve’s dominance.
