Juventus held AC Milan to a 2-2 draw in the second-leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final on Tuesday, March 20.
The Old Lady advance to the final of the competition after winning 4-3 on aggregate basis. Antonio Conte’s side won the first-leg 2-1 last month.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gianluigi-Buffon-c14833 in the goal.
On the other hand, Marco Amelia replaced http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 started upfront in a 4-4-2 setup.
Milan had a wonderful start to the game, as they dominated the major chunk of possession. Ibrahimovic had a wonderful opportunity to give Rossoneri the lead in the 20th minute, as the Swede skipped past Andrea Pirlo
before forcing Storari into making a smart low save.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Clarence-Seedorf-c9275 tried his luck with a thunderbolt effort from long-range, but the veteran’s strike whistled just over the bar.
The Rossoneri were made to rue for their wastefulness, as they opened the scoring in the 28th minute. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Stephan-Lichtsteiner-c34101 made a stupendous run from the right flank before laying a low cross for Del Piero, who chipped
his shot over the onrushing Amelia to make it 1-0 for the Old Lady.
Milan were clearly better of the two sides, but they were too wasteful in front of the goal. Maxi Lopez was introduced in place of Ibrahimovic at the start of the second-half.
The Italian Champions managed to find the equaliser moments after the resumption of second-half.  Philippe Mexes’ long ball evaded the Juve defence and fell into the path of Djamel Mesbah, who brilliantly finished a diving header
to make it 1-1.
Diavolo continued to dominate the proceedings, and got themselves level on aggregate in the 81st minute. Maxi Lopez turned past Chiellini outside the box and found the top right corner of the net to make it 2-1 for Milan.
The game had to be taken into extra time, as the two teams were drawn level on aggregate.
Mirko Vucinic’s 30-yard screamer in the first-half of the extra time stunned the Rossoneri fans into silence, as Juventus took a 4-3 lead on aggregate. The Turin giants managed to hold onto their advantage, as they qualified for
their first final since 2004.
