Juventus Captain and striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-Del-Piero-c4726, has warned his teammates to concentrate on the task at hand and take the road to Scudetto one game at a time.
La Vecchia Signora have made an impressive start to the season; however, the legendary Captain believes that they have to put in their maximum concentration in order to land the title.
Juve currently lead the Serie A table, level on 22 points with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 but enjoy a healthier goal difference. Moreover, the Bianconeri have managed to remain unbeaten through their first 10 games and still have on game in hand.
Del Piero was recently talking to the club’s official website where he expressed his satisfaction with the outcome of the recent home game against Palermo. Juve won the match 3-0 and regained the top spot in the league.
The striker believes that hard work is paying off, and they need to keep working in similar fashion to get the expected results.
"The victory against Palermo marks another important step in our season. We didn't think the result would be easy, remembering the previous years. We are on top, and with a game in hand to play. We must continue and remember that we have not achieved anything
yet,” Del Piero told his official website.
Furthermore, the Bianconeri Captain was at an event where he talked about his future ambitions. The Juventino said that he is currently only focused at getting the best results for Juventus.
"I have enjoyed our time at the top, but I can't deny that I suffer when I'm on the bench. I am still the captain of the team, as my teammates have reiterated. I do not want to think about what will happen from June onwards. I will play for a few more years,
football is my passion and I enjoy it,” concluded Del Piero.
Juventus are up for a top of the table clash on Saturday, November 26, against Lazio at Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
