Juventus FC earmark Europe’s best young coaches to replace manager Luigi Delneri
According to reports in Turin, Serie A struggling side, Juventus FC, is looking to change their coach for the next season.
It has been reported that current coach, Luigi Delneri’s, days at Juventus may be numbered as Juventus seeks for a replacement.
Currently, Juventus are in 7th place in the Serie A standings and the Bianconeri management might sack Delneri by the end of the current campaign. Juventus have struggled to perform in the Serie A under Delneri.
After a great start to the campaign, La Vecchia Signora has fallen far away from the Champions League qualification spots as well as Europa League qualification.
With Delneri’s failure to make Juventus a strong side this season, the Turin club’s management has reportedly sighted three young coaches who might be seen at Juventus’ technical area next season.
Newspaper, Tuttosport, claims that Didier Deschamps, Andre Villas Boas and Walter Mazzarri are the most likely candidates to replace the 60-year-old tactician.
Didier Deschamps is currently managing Ligue 1 giants, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127. The 49-year old won the Ligue 1 with the club last season and this season, guided the club past the UEFA Champions’ League group phases and last week won the Coupe de la Ligue
for Marseille for a second season in a row. Marseille are on top of the Ligue 1 standings and the Frenchman may join the Turin giants by the end of the season.
On the other hand, Walter Mazzarri has made http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 a force to be reckoned in Serie A. The San Paulo club is challenging for the Scudetto under Mazzarri, another coach on Juventus’ radar. However, it is still not certain if Mazzarri would want to leave the
club as the Italian made it clear a few months ago that he wants to guide the club to Champions League football next season.
This season, Portuguese giants, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186, have dominated the domestic league and have not been beaten in the league yet. Furthermore, under the guidance of 33-year-old, Andre Villas Boas, Porto have become one of the most fearsome attacking sides in Europe.
Having already won the Portuguese league and with one leg in the final of the UEFA Europa League after beating Villarreal 5-1 in the 1st leg of the semi-finals, Andre Villas Boas is another coach being monitored by Juventus.
It is still not clear which of these three managers would join the club but it is becoming evident that Luigi Delneri won’t be at the helm by the end of the current campaign.
