Juventus FC striker Amauri ready to leave and join Fiorentina – Serie A news
According to reports in Turin, Juventus striker, Amauri, will be leaving beleaguered Serie A giants, Juventus, by the end of the current campaign.
It has been suggested that the Brazilian will leave the club for Fiorentina as part of a deal for Fiorentina’s influential midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Riccardo-Montolivo-c31049, who will head for the Vecchia Signora.
A few days ago, it was reported that Montolivo may be lured away from Fiorentina by Juventus and it now seems that Juventus are willing to offer Fiorentina the services of Amauri plus cash in order to lower down the price-tag of the Italian international.
Montolivo has already been under the radar of the Juventus scouts for some time and it now seems very likely that the Old Lady will table an offer for the 26-year old as soon as the summer transfer window opens.
Amauri joined Juventus in the summer of 2008 and quickly became an important part of the Bianconeri side.
However, this season the 30-year old lost his place in the side and found first team opportunities hard to come by in the first half of the season. Therefore, he was loaned out to lowly Parma in the January transfer window.
Although, Amauri is expected to return to his parent club by the end of the season, it is likely that he has already been deemed surplus to requirements so he will be offered to Fiorentina, as Juventus look to bring in the influential Montolivo, who has
been making rapid progress at the Florence based club.
It still remains to be seen if Fiorentina would want to add another striker to their ranks and may reject Juventus’ offer.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AC-Bellinzona-c38198 signed him.
Although he made just 5 appearances, he had done enough to earn himself a move to Parma. In 2003, he moved to Chievo where he played 89 games and scored 17 goals.
In 2006, he was signed by Palermo before Juventus snapped him up in 2008. Since then, Amauri has failed to live up to his expectations and has scored only 17 goals in 71 appearances. It is very likely that the one-time Italian international will be out of
Turin when the season ends but it remains to be seen if Fiorentina would be his destination or not.
