Juventus: Giorgio Chiellini demands determination from team against Palermo – Serie A
Juventus defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giorgio-Chiellini-c14963, is eagerly waiting for the upcoming clash at home against US Palermo, after a long break in the Serie A due to international games.
Chiellini has made his statement clear that he will do his best to help Juve win the game, and bounce back to the top of the league table as league leaders.
The centre-back believes that as they are back from the International break, they need to concentrate on the league and give their best output. The 27-year-old Italian international believes that Palermo can cause them problems if they are no well prepared
for the clash.
The defender was recently talking to Sky Sport Italia where he expressed his feelings ahead of the tie against the Sicilians.
"In recent years, Palermo always gave their all in Turin, and they'll want to continue that at the weekend,” Chiellini told Sky Sport Italia.
Juve have managed to stay unbeaten thus far this season, winning 5 and drawing 4 fixtures. The centre-back believes that they need the same determination as they showed in the previous games in order to regain the top berth on the the league table.
"We have to approach the game with the same determination shown in the last clashes in order to avoid difficulties. However, we're likely to suffer if we're not at our very best,” concluded Chiellini.
Juventus have made a great start to the ongoing 2011/12 season and are being considered serious Scudetto contenders. After two consecutive 7th place finishes in the Italian top flight, Juve look ambitious to undo the past failures and return to
winning ways this season.
