The Stamford bridge outfit and Zenit St Petersburg are both keeping tabs on the former CSKA Moscow midfielder.
The agent of Juventus winger, Milos Krasic, has claimed that his client would prefer a move to Chelsea rather than moving to Zenit St Petersburg.
Reports linking the midfielder away from Juventus Stadium have intensified after the Serbian had a falling out with Old Lady boss, Antonio Conte. Consequently, the winger has been dropped from the squad for tonight’s semi-final
of the Coppa Italia against AC Milan.
The rumour mill has been rife with news that Russian outfit, Zenit St Petersburg, are eager to sign Krasic during the winter transfer window. Russian transfer activities continue until the 24th February unlike the January
31 deadline date for other major leagues.
However, Krasic’s agent, Vlado Borozan, was quick to quash the reports and has stated that his client wants to stay at Juventus. He further added that a lot of clubs are interested in the midfielder’s signature, and they will see
how things progress over the next few weeks.
Borozan further added during his interview to the radio station,
“We just have to wait and see what develops. He is appreciated everywhere, so we’ll see which clubs and projects will step forward before June.”
Borozan stated that there has been no meeting with the club management about the Serbian international’s future, but admitted that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are very much interested in his client.
Adding to his previous statement, he said:
“He is under contract, the Bianconeri have their ideas and so far we haven’t had the right circumstances to talk about anything. Chelsea are one of the clubs the player likes and we know they are interested in him.”
The Blues were heavily linked with a move for the 27-year-old during the January window, however, the talks did not materialise. Borozan is hopeful that there will be renewed interest from Chelsea in the summer.
Krasic joined the Lady Killers before the start of the 2010/11 season, and had a hugely successful debut campaign with the club. The Yugoslavian-born midfielder scored nine goals in 41 appearances in all competitions for the Turin
giants. However, he has struggled to find first-team opportunities under Antonio Conte.
