Juventus close to sign Klose, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Felipe-Melo-c13535 keen to stay with the Bianconeri – Serie A Update
Juventus FC have been in search of a quality forward who can add strength to their forward line and are reportedly hot on the heels of Bayern Munich striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Miroslav-Klose-c26049. The striker’s contract at Allianz Arena is about to expire and speculations suggest
that he is unlikely to receive a contract renewal.
The striker has been prone to injuries and has failed to feature regularly for the Bundesliga giants. A move to Turin might prove fruitful for the German as he would get more continuity to his play, and he will be a great addition to the squad that wishes
to challenge strongly for the Scudetto in the upcoming 2011/12 season.
The striker and Die Bayern have disagreements on the terms offered to him; the team is willing to give a one year extension with reduced wages and a compulsory 20 match appearance for a renewal at the end of next season. However, the prolific hitman wants
a two-year contract with no clauses added to his document. Reports from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 suggest that Juve have made the initial approach and the two parties are currently in the process of negotiation.
Meanwhile, Brazilian defensive midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Felipe-c13510 Melo, is keen to continue his tenure in Turin. While recently talking to the media, the player’s agent, Jose Rodriguez Baster, said:
"The situation is that we are talking with Juventus but there is no official position on its future. Felipe has played very well in recent games and we're talking since a few weeks with the club but there are different opinions on his level of performance.
It has been officially said that he is not for sale but if Juventus decided to sell Melo to the Premier League, it would be one of the destinations you like. In the coming days we'll know a bit more."
Juventus are keen to strengthen the midfield and the recent signing of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Reto-Ziegler-c30895 from Sampdoria have been great deals on free transfers. Klose would be the third free transfer of the season for the Lady Killers and he would
complement the recent midfield signings.
