Juventus given ultimatum by Atletico Madrid for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero transfer – Serie A Update
Spanish outfit, Atletico Madrid, have set a deadline for all the outfits interested in signing the prolific hitman, Sergio ‘Kun’ Aguero. The Argentinean forward is on the transfer list of many elite clubs across Europe, and the deadline is set to identify
the serious competitors in the transfer market.
The player is currently tracked by La Liga rivals http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 FC from English Premier League and Juventus. The player is highly-rated and is reckoned to be one the best players of his generation, following
in the footsteps of his father-in-law, the legendary http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-Maradona-c11160.
The outfit’s head coach, Gregorio Manzano, has intimated the Italians and other interested parties by setting an ultimatum; no transfer enquires would be entertained after July 4, 2011. The striker had revealed last month that he would consider a move out
of Estadio http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Indios-c39565 made the 23-year-old hitman available in the transfer market.
The head coach was recently talking to the media and unveiled his club’s decision.
"Until July 4, when our pre-season starts, we are able to negotiate for Aguero. After this date, clubs that want to take him away will have to pay his release clause. We have to impose ourselves on the market and so we need to know whether we can count on
our strongest player." Manzano said.
The striker is valued at the 50 million Euros mark and is one of the most expensive players on the transfer market this year. The price tag is an issue for Juve, who are keen on bargains this year and would be hard-pressed presenting a mammoth 50 million
Euros. However, the director general at Turin, Beppe Marotta, is keen on luring the striker to Turin as the team is ambitious to relive glory days in the Italian top flight and make a return to European football.
