Italian goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon, has expressed his desire to coach the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/United-States-c3034 or Chinese national football team at one point in his career.
The 33-year-old believes that he still has four or five years of playing time left in him before he calls it a day. Buffon’s future with Juventus had been surrounded with a lot of uncertainty in the recent past. Several clubs were
linked with the former Parma man but he committed himself to Old Lady by penning a new contract.
Buffon is not intending to finish his career at the Turin based club and he added that if any offer came his way from China or USA, he would happily pounce on it. However, he added that he will continue playing for Juventus until
they require him.
Talking to the reporters Buffon said, “I have never thought of coming here to end my playing career. I’ll stay at Juventus for as long as they trust me, but in three or four years I’ve got the crazy idea in my head that I’d like
to be the Coach for USA or China. Both would be incredible experiences.”
The Italian international believes that the talent in USA and China is emerging day by day and these two nations will become football powerhouse in the years to come.
However, the shot-stopper is eagerly looking forward to the 2011/12 season and wants to regain full fitness ahead of the campaign. The former Parma shot-stopper believes that his team will perform better in the upcoming season
and is confident that they will challenge for the top honour.
“We certainly reinforced the squad and I’ve seen a strong willingness to sacrifice from everyone. We must remember the last two years and learn not to repeat the mistakes of the past.” added the veteran star
Buffon joined Juventus in 2001 and since then, he has made 337 appearances for the Turin club. He also has 105 national team appearances to his name thus far.
