Antonio Conte, the head coach of the Turin outfit, has gone on to comment on the future of the club in the Champions League as well as their opponents, Celtic

In the draws that were compiled for the upcoming round of 16 ties, Juventus were paired with the Scottish champions, Celtic, and there were many who felt that Juve had the luckiest draw. This was with reason that the Turin outfit could have been paired with
a number of clubs and that could have included the likes of Real Madrid; and Juventus must be delighted to have avoided that clash.
Luck favoured Juve more than the other representatives from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926, as AC Milan were pitted, yet again, against the all mighty Barcelona; and the mood in the Rossoneri camp was far duller as compared to the Bianconeri, and the reason was evident. Juventus
has a better chance of qualifying for the quarter finals of the Champions League as compared to Milan, and even though nothing is for sure in the Champions League; the chances of Milan competing and winning against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 are extremely thin.
They might have been able to defeat them last year, but the mass exodus at the club has taken away with it the leadership qualities required from the team and furthermore, it has also reduced the quality in the squad. However, despite the comparative ease,
Conte has gone on to state that they would be treating their opposition with the greatest respect.
He remarked on their progress to the round of 16 and mentioned the fact that the team had secured victory against Barcelona at home and the trip to Glasgow would be difficult. Furthermore, he also reflected on the quality of their squad and mentioned:
“Celtic are a good team. They qualified from a group that involved Barcelona, Spartak Moscow and Benfica. They have good players like Giorgios Samaras and Kris Commons. We will go to this game with great enthusiasm, with the greatest respect for the Scots
and will try to do our best.”
Juve would be travelling away to Glasgow in the first leg on the 12th of February, 2013.
