The Chilean international is optimistic over the chances of Juventus retaining their Championship; but mentioned that it would be more difficult to do so.
The former Bayer Leverkusen man established himself as a regular in Antonio Conte’s outfit and broke countless attacks in their quest to bag that elusive Scudetto. He was a big help to the defence, and Juve were a slightly weaker
team in his absence.
Vidal had been a consistent performer throughout the league and quickly established himself to be the first name on the team; and rarely featured on the bench when he was fit. Juventus have been busy preparing for the 2012/13 season,
with their pre-season training base in Chatillon.

within the squad.
The Chilean midfielder feels that the club are on the right track and have managed to get better as compared to last season, however, he was in no mood to rest on their laurels and stated that the talking should be done on the
field, he went on to state:
"We have improved further now and we know that we are strong," the Chilean added. "But we must prove it on the field and not by talking.”
Juventus remained unbeaten throughout the season, and made history by doing so. They are the only team in the Serie A to have remained unbeaten through the entirety of the league. The difference between this season and the last
is the fact that the Turin giants will be featuring in the UEFA Champions League which will increase the level of competitiveness for the team in general.
Vidal reflected on the increased competition and stated that was the reason behind their hard work in pre season, and remarked:
"We know that this will be a difficult season, in which we will be playing in several different competitions. That is why we are working so hard now.”
The defender went on to comment on the Coppa Italia final, and stated that they will avenge the defeat in the Supercoppa Italiana.
