Juventus keen to lure Sebastian Giovinco back from Parma FC – Serie A Transfer Update
Juventus FC have not ruled out the possibility Parma FC and Italy attacker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sebastian-Giovinco-c32724, returning to the club. The attacking midfielder was formerly a Juventino and came through the Juve youth academy.
Nicknamed the ‘Atomic Ant’, Giovinco made close to 50 appearances for the Bianconeri after his debut during the 2006/07 season.
The attacking midfielder was sent on a loan spell to Empoli for the 2007/08season. On his return, he made his place in the Juve squad and was used more frequently in the following two campaigns.
However, more disappointment beckoned for the pint-sized attacker as he was farmed out again for the 2010/11 season, this time to Parma FC with the Crusaders reserving the right to buy 50 percent rights of the midfielder from La Vecchia
Signora at the end of the term.
Parma, highly impressed by the quality of the player, exercised their right to co-own him with Juve. However, it is reckoned that Juve want the attacker back in Turin.
The Lady Killers’ director general, Beppe Marotta, is reportedly working on a way to bring home the young sensation, who has already scored 5 goals in the first 4 games for Parma this season.
"Can Giovinco be a Juventus player? When a player plays for the national team then yes, he can also be a Juventus player. Our choice to let him join Parma is just a temporary one,” said Marotta.
Marotta elaborated that Giovinco has been on loan for long as he needed to gain first team experience, and now that he has proved his abilities, he will be asked to return to Juventus Arena.
"We made a precise choice to send him away so he could show he is a great player, and he is doing just that,” concluded the Director.
However, Parma are keen to hold on to the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 international, who is regarded as the central figure around whom the Ducali constitute their play.
