Juventus looking forward to sign Liverpool’s English international Glen Johnson

The latest reports have it that Liverpool’s star right back Glen Johnson might be on the verge of making a possible move to Juventus when the winter transfer window opens.
Despite the club being sold to the Red Sox owner, Johnson is on stage about to play a move very much like that happened earlier in the summers and embarrassed the whole Anfield.
It was the Argentinean captain Javier Mascherano that provided the Merseyside with enough stock of betrayal, when despite a new manager and promises of new owners along with player investments he became stubborn to leave the club.
Now that Liverpool has been sold and many thought that the players might actually be feeling more secure with the Kop, but apparently their current 18th position in the League is demanding too much.
Now the defender who is considered in the League of Cafu and Franz Beckenbauer is considering his options. Johnson has also starred for England and it is his appearances for the Three Lions that have taken him up another notch.
Juventus, who finished 7th last season, and are looking to do the same right now are deeply disappointed by their current choice for the place, Marco Motta.
The right back has constantly provided his opponents with a defensive hole and therefore the club’s technical director Giuseppe Marotta has expressed that to him Johnson looks like the better option in defence.
Earlier in the summers of 2009 Johnson was acquired from Portsmouth. From then till now Johnson has constantly improved with the Reds having now established himself as a crucial player in the defence as well as attack.
However if Juventus dream about getting Johnson they will have to pay dearly as Johnson has a binding contract with Liverpool and the club which is already running short of players, hold this star very dearly.
The present contract of Johnson will end in the summer of 2013, hence before at least the next year it seems very hard that Liverpool might want to say farewell to the English international, one who has constantly been performing
for them.
