The Serie A champions failed to acquire the talented striker earlier during the summer transfers but are hoping that they get lucky the second time.
Juve General manager Beppe Marotta had this to say in the past after they failed to make the deal.
"If he (Llorente) remains on the market then he is a player that we are interested in. In January we will evaluate the whole situation."
Athletic Bilbao had refused to hand over the 27-year-old previously because they wanted him to open the La Liga season for them. The Bianconeri are hoping that the Basque side are willing to gain some finances over their number
9 while they can.
Over at San Mames Llorente has been mainly a bench warmer as of late, this is because he has shown interest elsewhere and hopes to leave as soon as a worthwhile offer is made. He is praying that he gets out of his current situation
quickly so that he can get his career back on track which is suffering thanks to all the off time he has been getting.
His contract with his current club will expire in 2012-2013.

Fernando Llorente has been with Athletic Bilbao since 2005 and has made 244 appearances wearing the Spanish club’s jersey. He has scored 82 times during his tenure at Athletic and had previously been imported from Baskonia.
The Spaniard has been playing for Spain’s National outfit since 2008 and has made 21 appearances for his country. He has scored on 7 occasions while in the national squad. His favourite mode of striking is a header.
