Juventus ready to sell Vincenzo Iaquinta, Amauri and Luca Toni in winter window – Serie A Update
Juventus have finally revealed their intentions offload dead wood from their squad. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vincenzo-Iaquinta-c36199, Amauri and Luca Toni have been identified for the axe. Juve have an over-crowded front line and this has left most forwards bidding their time frustrated
on the bench.
The Lady Killers’ attack line-up currently consists of Vincenzo Iaquinta, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-Matri-c4733 and Mauri. Most of the players have been desperately looking for a transfer recently; however,
no suitable deals came through.
Juve have now announced that they will be letting go of two players in order to cash in during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Talking about Amauri, the Juve director general, Beppe Marotta, told Tuttosport that he will be on the transfer market in January. The striker’s contract with the Turin giants is set to expire in June 2012.
“In January we decided to loan him to Parma. He’d only scored one goal for us and, for his own good and ours; it was decided to give him away on a temporary basis. In June, though, we told http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Amauri-c5381 that he wasn’t a part of the project anymore. There
was interest from Marseille who were ready to offer him a three-year deal, but he rejected that. Unfortunately our contractual power over him is almost zero now given that his deal expires in June, but we’ll see if we can sell him in January,” said Marotta.
It is expected that the Italian international would be heading out to Marseille or Paris Saint-Germain as both the teams have been keen on acquiring his services.
On the other hand, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luca-Toni-c22526, who has been on the Juventus sidelines for some time, could be making a move to the English Premier League in the winter market.

According to reports, Arsenal FC are interested in signing the hitman and they would be placing an offer in January.
