Juventus still in hunt for a striker
Italian club, Juventus, is lacking their frontline attack due to the loss of an experienced attacker, Amauri, in the upcoming match against Catania at home in Thursday's Coppa Italia match.
The striker suffered a facial injury in a Serie A match.
Amauri received the injury during the match against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-Del-Piero-c4726.
Juventus, on one hand are welcoming the long awaited return of their legendary goal keeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Uruguay-c3035, but now have lost their striker.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Amauri-c5381 went to hospital and it’s officially confirmed that he fractured his nose. The recovery would require 2 days after surgery.
Juventus are hold sixth position in the Italian Serie A. Even though they took 7 goals in their last 2 matches, they lost both matches.
The upcoming match against Catania is crucial and the club is looking for a suitable replacement to avoid another loss.
Juventus is also in negotiations to buy Diego Forlan and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adrian-Mutu-c3742.
“La Vecchia Signora” has officially announced their new striker Toni, to replace Fabio Quagliarella, who didn’t play this season.
But Juventus are still looking for new strikers and have officially listed Diego and Adrian as targeted players.
Even though La Vecchia Signora unveiled the new signing, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-Quagliarella-c13194, has left the club desperate for firepower upfront.
Adrian Mutu, Diego Forlan and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Di-Natale-c6306 have been linked to Bianconeri in recent days.
The more expected buy would be Adrian Mutu, that’s because he has been playing for Juventus in the past and had collaboration with the team back in 2006.
The signing would see two former Viola forwards, Toni and Mutu, reunite in Turin.
Adrian’s career has been at risk due to his drug addiction and doping habits. He even had encounters with the police and charges were placed against him.
Moreover, his absence from exercise and his status as the “La Viola” player being frozen does not help his cause and he will be sold for 3 million Euros.
Juventus are definitely looking forward to bringing in Adrian and if things don’t work out, they will maximize their efforts to get Diego in the squad as they have previously been interested in having the Uruguayan striker at their disposal at the cost of
15 million Euros.
