Juventus striker Amauri turns down move to Trabzonspor – Serie A news
Out-of-favour Juventus striker Amauri is set to be banned from first team action at the club following his refusal to move to Turkish Super Lig club, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Trabzonspor-c40759, according to reports.
The Brazilian-Italian forward had been told that he is no longer a part of the club’s future plans but decided to turn down multiple offers, earning the wrath of director general Beppe Marotta this week.
In addition to the Turkish outfit, Palermo, Olympique Marseille and some unnamed English clubs also tried their luck but to no avail.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Amauri-c5381 was brought to Turin in a deal worth 22.8 million Euros in the 2008 summer transfer window, but the player has failed miserably at La Vecchia Signora. His 17 goals from 71 appearances are a far cry from the performances he used to exhibit for Palermo week-in, week-out.
The transfer window in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 came to an end on August 31st, however, the clubs can still offload players to leagues where transfer activity is ongoing. Turkish sides can still sign players up to Monday.
Amauri’s rejection has thrown a spanner in the works and is set to face a lengthy spell on the sidelines, alone. Many have predicted that the attacker will try to force out a move, just what Juve want from him.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vincenzo-Iaquinta-c36199 is set to face the same fate at Juventus. Time is running out for both the attackers and they must come to a decidion before Monday, August 5.
