Juventus take last shots on Gokhan Inler and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Udinese-Calcio-c40789 – Serie A Update
Juventus FC target, Udinese Calcio’s Gokhan Inler, has revealed that he is looking forward to move out to Barcelona FC now. The Swiss international was previously the top choice in the midfield for the Old Lady. However, the Turin giants could not agree
on the 15 million Euro price tag of the player and bailed out of the transfer race.
Recent reports from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 suggest that the Juve Director General, Beppe Marotta, will have a final meeting with the Friuli outfit to discuss terms for a concession as the Lady Killers are keen to pay in the region of 10-12 million Euros for the Swiss international.
According to La Stampa Italia, Marotta is keen to lure the player to Turin as a final addition to the midfield following acquisitions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michele-Pazienza-c25498.
However, the Zebrette are unwilling to negotiate on the price tag and are reckoned to be considering other available options. Rumours indicate that the Spanish giants http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 have shown interest in signing the 26-year-old Swedish central midfielder.
Barca are the reigning La Liga and European champions and Inler has also shown his interest in going to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 for the upcoming 2011/12 season. Although no official statement has been received from the Spaniards, the Friuli outfit have shown excitement regarding
initial contact by the Blaugrana.
Juventus are keen to make one final run towards the acquisition of Inler. According to several sources from Italy, the Lady Killers are once again going to try and convince Udinese on a combined deal for the Swiss midfielder and the talismanic Alexis Sanchez.
Juve have been tracking the players since last month but no agreement was made between the two outfits.
Juve are keen to add quality players to the outfit this summer transfer window as they have lagged behind the top runners in the Italian top flight and also have missed out on European football for two consecutive seasons.
