The central defender at Juventus has gone on to comment on the performance of the Bianconeri outfit in their Champions League fixture in Denmark against Nordsjaelland.
Still healing from their defeats at the hands of their arch rivals, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, the Turin outfit were in no mood to be messed around with in their Champions League match against the Champions of Denmark, Nordsjaelland and he has gone on to state on their
unexpected draw at the hands of the Danish champions in their third group stage tie of the Champions League; in which Juve travelled to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denmark-c2884 to face Kasper Hjulmand’s men.
Their performance on the third match day of the group stages of the premier European competition was lack lustre and failed to inspire any confidence into the fans of the Turin outfit as to whether the club would be able to compete at the highest level of
competition in Europe.
Bonucci was talking to the press and during his analysis on the match; he remarked that the thing wrong about the performance in Denmark was the complacency with which the team played the match. He remarked on the results of Nordsjaelland and conceded that
they were a little arrogant in their approach against the Danish champions.
Furthermore, he went on to remark on their recent result against the same position, a match in which the Turin outfit ran riot and went on to secure victory with a 4-0 score line. He commended the performance of his teammates and reminded everyone that it
was a great match, and wanted to continue the good work, and remarked:
“In Denmark we were perhaps a little complacent, as we were coming off some great results and Nordsjaelland had conceded many goals in the group phase. We didn’t go there with the right approach. Tonight we were coming off a defeat and wanted to prove ourselves,
which is why we got to see a great Juventus performance.”
The Bianconeri outfit have not been in the best of forms in Europe and they were going into the match against the Danish champions on the back of a run of nine consecutive draws in European competition.
