i would say the colorful one is best for first day of school- since everyone wants to make an impression- thats bright so people will notice ;)

I like the outfit on the left (the one with the blue shirt and the skinny jeans). But I absolutely love the jacket and I think that outfit would look better with blue skinny jeans and different shoes, some that are more casual.
