K.F.C name?

i know it as kentucky fried chicken. why dont they use the name any more on their adverts and packaging? they just use K.F.C now adays.

Because about twenty years ago, K.F.C temporarily had to use various meats that tasted like chicken instead of actual chicken because of high cost. Kentucky Fried Chicken changed it's name so it wouldn't have "Chicken" in the title to avoid legality issues without letting people know that real chicken was not used. K.F.C. is back to using real chicken, but the name just stuck.

I think it was because of the kentucky part...had to do with something that it not actually ckicken from kentucky....but I could be wrong

it because the word "Fried", most people who try to be healthy don't want to eat something that is stated fried. It is all about there psyche.

They don't want to emphasize the" Fried" in this age of health y eating. It would psychologically detour a good amount of business.

when the the US went on a health kick 10 years ago or so they decided to say kfc to avoid using the word "fried"
