I heard around that although this air filter lets in more air it also lets in more dust and c**p that could eventually mess up the engine, is that true? Kuz i have a honda accord that i really love and i dont want to add something that supposebly is top of the line, but messes up the car

  1. the filter wont let more dust or anything in, but if you get a cold-air intake make sure you get a bypass valve too. you dont wanna run  over i nice big puddle w/ a c.a.i. your engine will drown. i like aem intakes better than k&n too.

  2. A K&N replacement filter WILL let in more air, and will not do any worse than your stock filter in well filtering.

If you have changed your filter to one that is not a Honda brand filter, then the K&N will probably filter even better.

  3. if all you do it put in a filter it will not make any diffrence any way so why bother. If you do the still have to be cleaned all the time
