  1. Get some icy-hot patches and the cream and put them where its sore.

I had the same problem when i went snowboarding but it was mainly in my shoulders and arms.

  2. You'll get better.  You've just used a whole bunch of muscles you haven't worked out or used.  In time you'll be good as new.

I suggest you condition yourself by starting a regular exercise routine, working all parts of your body; doing both cardio and weight training...especially your lower body.  Not only will the soreness be less intense, but you'll strengthen your muscles and reduce your chances of serious injuries and/or fast recovery if you do get injured.

  3. the soreness and bruises will go away in a day or two; that's really common for a first-time snowboarder.

were your toes tingly or did you totally lose circulation? if they returned to their normal color you are probably alright, but if they are still tingly/discolored, or if you have no feeling in them at all you need to go to a doctor right away!

next time though i would recommend wearing an extra pair or two of socks. it is so easy for your toes to get cold and numb up on a mountain, and very important to layer up.

  4. ummm....act like any other time you get hurt. TAKE CARE OF IT. clean cuts, ice muscles. the obvious

  5. omg i went for the first time last wednesday...wow worst soreness ive ever felt!! i know how it feels!! ahh its bad.

um mine is gone and it was in about 4 days...just try to relax as much as u can.

  6. when you snowboard you use muscles in your body that you have never used before. when i started snowboarding fot the first time that happened to me.

you just gotta rest and use a lot of hot packs if you want it to speed your "healing" :P

    hope you get better!!!

  7. So very normal.  I was sore in places I didn't even know I could be sore the first time I skied.  Felt like I got hit by a truck the next day.  Took a while to recover fully too (over a week, I think), but that didn't stop me from going the very next chance I got.

  8. You will be very sore... I was sore for about the first 4 times I went. Now I just get a little sore... Its like weight training... Its good for the body and the body will be sore...

Just keep at it.. soak in a nice hot tube...

  9. i snow board. yes it does hurt when you fall, but you just have to keep practicing.  everyone starts out the same way.

  10. Don't worry you will get better my sister did when that happened.  If your toes hurt soak them in warm water and don't push on the bruses, let them be.  Just rest a little while and sooner or later you will feel better.

  11. STOP DOING THAT THE NEXT TIME.

  12. massage and ice the sore areas

    20mins on then 20mins off

    and dont stress the muscles

  13. You need to take lessons.  I know they cost a lot but private is the best.  It has taken me three years to not fall anymore so you have a long way ahead of you.

    Good Luck.

  14. stay in bed and take meds ice pack

  15. snowboarding uses A LOT of muscles in order to control movements and speed.  Not to mention if you just started, you were probably falling a lot.  That is why you're sore.  The muscle pains will go away, take some ibuprofen and a hot bath.  Hope you feel better!

  16. it'll go away eventually, just get a lot of rest, next time buy padding for your wrist and your butt
