K1 Processing time or Australia?

My fiance and I are currently in processing our K1 visa. What is the current backlog for Australia? How quickly does the consulate in sydney take to respond to a visa application?

are you sure it's called k1? you probably should just call it an australia fiance visa... k1 is the visa name for the US fiance visa. that way, you don't confuse people and someone would be able to give you the correct answer.

edit: oh, okay. now i got it. for australia... the average time between the consulate receiving the petition from NVC to the actual interview is about 2-3 months.
