  1. You need to check with your states's Virtual Academy. Some have passed their enrollment deadline, others have not. Another option is to enroll in a charter school that allows students to use k12 courses in addition to other curriculum. Here in California there are many. Not sure about other states, but the info is on the k12 website, here:

  2. yes. you can. its an orderd course. And many virtual charter school will accept 07-08 applications until like, january. Check, many states have a virtual program.

  3. It depends on what grade you are in.  Not all k12 virtual academies off all high school grades and some won't take new enrollees for 11th or 12th, only existing students who are moving on to those grades.  Go to k12.com and see what is available in your state.  Also, most of them probably have enrollment closed for this quarter but are accepting for the winter quarter, so you wouldn't be able to transfer for another couple of weeks.

Edit:  I just read somewhere that for high school, they are only accepting registration now for 2nd semester.  At least in the state of Ohio.  Other states may be different.

  4. To Darcy34 - you can do K12  high school *without* going through a virtual school.   You just purchase the courses yourself.  They are $350/semester/course.

I would bet that for both VA/VSP programs *and* HS'ing (buy it yourself) that it's too late for this semester to enroll.  These are teacher-led courses with syllabi and schedules to keep.  You can most likely enroll for the spring semester.

Here is the main K12 high school site:

Here is the list of courses for "consumer direct" - the homeshool option:
