    Hope this helps!

  2. The K12 icademy has one last online seminar in June if you want to catch it. Go to http://www.k12.com/int/community_and_eve...

It will be held Wednesday of this week, so don't delay planning to attend.

We used K12 for 4th to 7th grade with one of our children. I get the feeling you will be interested in 7th or higher which we have not personally done. I did like the levels we used and am considering it for our rising second grader.

Do try to make the online conference. Even if you decide to use K12 as an independent home schooler, go through a state virtual program, or go with the new icademy (international academy run by K12 as a private school), there will be enough information at that meeting to help you decide. You will likely be in the meeting with kids and parents from around the world.

  3. www.K12.org  is a good source for home schooling, so is morningstaracademy.com and abeka online high school

  4. We've used K12 for 5.5 years and LOVE it.  Of course you have homework - ALL your work is at home b/c it's an online school you do at HOME - either as a public school student, or as a private homeschooler.

You can attend a virtual *public* school in your state, or purchase K12 to use on your own, just like you would any other curriculum.
