KA-BAR or BUCK the biggest problem of my life!!!!

Question

well I'm stuck between in my opinion two of the best knives ever made I'm stuck between a buck 119 smooth bone series or a ka-bar Foliage Green Fighting/Utility Knife Serrated. I'm going to get one of the two so kindly i would not like any other suggestions. i need it for hunting and survival,Field dressing is a possibility too. thanks for the help

for your purposes, you can't go wrong with either one, I have both, and they are excellent in their own way...good luck.

The Ka-Bar is the "REAL DEAL"  in this style of knife and I have found that they hold an edge better then the Bucks I've owned.

The buck looks cooler. get that one.

The that buck at walmart is like 40 bucks .The buck is a better for hunting knife but the ka bar i not as good for hunting but close but overall the ka-bar is better

kabar the buck has a funny feel to it and it slips alot im a hogdogger i know knifes and the buck is good looking but will let you down i dont know any1 who was happy with it

Good question, I would choose the buck without the smooth bone handle for hunting and field dressing, and the Kabar for survival needs.

Hey!!!! get both.  I dont think you can have too many knives.  

I use a Cold Steel Master Hunter for field work, because of its edge holdiing ability( better than Buck or Kabar)  and for survival I rely on a no longer made Gerber bowie

Use the Buck, it's a lot more practical.  Try gutting a deer with your KABAR once, it's not half as easy as using the Buck. You may have to sharpen the Buck more often, but it's my favorite of the two.
