KB’s Strummer gave a tremendous hit at Palm Beach Club and won the purse of $ 20,000 for owner

$20,000 Gallagher/Kinnaird Puppy Stakes is a famous United States of America’s greyhound race, held at the Palm Beach Club. This time the championship final stakes race was scheduled on Monday, the 5th of September, 2011.
The Palm Beach 05 Sep 2011 HT A12 race covered 480 meters distance, which makes 545 yards.
The purse worth $20,000 was won by TB’s Strummer who finished first with his out class speed and tremendous performance.
Ebony River’s son out KB’s Addison, TB’s Strummer, wearing black and white stripes with red shirt, started his chase from trap 6.
Weighing 32.25 kilograms, the champion had a good start. He remained at the lead from the beginning till he crossed the wire, covering the distance in 29.83 seconds and finishing first for owner Troy Biehle.
Owner Vince Berland’s Flying Selena finished second in the stakes, being left 1 length behind TB’s Strummer.
The red and fawn b***h started her chase from trap 4, with a good flow she was leading her contenders, but when she came near the wire TB’s Strummer with his high momentum took the advantage to be the first one to cross the wire.
The daughter of Kiowa Sweet Trey out of Stellar Stella, Flying Selena covered the distance in a total time of 29.91 seconds.
Weighing 27.75 kilograms, Atascocita Jessa finished third by following Flying Selena, shy of a distance of 2 lengths.
The 1-year-old b***h got crowded during the initial stage of the race and when later on she tried to reach the wire, the situation was not in her favour and she finished her race in 29.97 seconds.
Js Pierce, a brindle dog, managed to finish fourth in the race, shy by 4 lengths.
The two-year-old dog, weighing 33 kilograms started his chase with a slow speed from trap 5. Although he tried very hard to compete with his competitors, he could not mange to achieve a better position throughout the race. The total time in which the young
hound reached the wire was 30.12 seconds.
KB’s Haslet and his half brother SE’s Rich Ronnie finished the race at fifth and sixth position, respectively.
KB’s Haslet, starting his run from trap 3, covered the distance in 30.16 seconds, chased by SE’s Rich Ronnie, who reached the wire in 30.35 seconds, shy by 7 ½ lengths.
Kells Neon Flash, the red b***h who got bumped in, 1 length in, when she raced from trap 8, covered the distance in 30.40 seconds, followed by Jim Gold.
The red and fawn b***h, Jim Gold, was not only left behind by 8 ½ lengths, but she was also the last one to reach the wire, covering the distance in 30.41 seconds.
